Miniature roses

Miniature roses are pruned like bushes.

The goal is to keep a few main branches (3 to 7).

Pruning should reduce woody shoots and favor young shoots.

We therefore cut at 3 to 5 eyes, i.e. an average distance of 15 to 20 cm from the grafting point.

Pruning climbing roses

A repeating rose means a rose that blooms several times a year.

Climbing roses are generally trellised against a wall, a pergola or a fence. We keep without pruning 5 to 6 main branches, which will constitute the main branches.

All the side shoots will be cut back to 5 or 6 eyes (i.e. 30 to 40cm).
