A WORD FROM THE BREEDER
One of our Italian contacts asked us to name a PERUGINO rose to mark the 500th anniversary of the death of the painter Pietro di Cristoforo Vannucci.
Better known as the PERUGINO, this artist (1448-1523) was a painter of the early Italian Renaissance. He devoted most of his work to painting religious pictures and has gone down in the history of Italian art as ‘the divine painter’.
